The Challah Society. The families behind Friday night.
Every Friday, more than two hundred students sit down to a home-cooked Shabbat dinner at the Fleishman House. The Challah Society is the circle of families behind those dinners, most of them parents and alumni who know exactly what a Friday night here feels like.
Members give annually, in honor of a student, in memory of a loved one, in celebration of a simcha. The students hear who set their table.
